Acceptable Use Policy

Behalf is a personal secretary for everyday calls. It is not a dialler, a call centre or a marketing tool. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

Not allowed

• Harassing, threatening or repeatedly calling anyone who asked you to stop.
• Marketing, cold calling, surveys or any bulk calling without the recipient's prior consent.
• Telling the secretary to claim it is a person, you, or any other person or organisation.
• Fraud, phishing for codes or card numbers, or any other deception.
• Calling emergency, rescue or crisis lines, or giving your Behalf number as an emergency contact.
• Calling premium-rate numbers or generating artificial traffic.
• Getting around the AI disclosure, the transcription notice or the service's limits.
• Reselling the service or running a business call line on a personal plan.
• Anything unlawful.

Fine

Ordering food, booking appointments, asking about opening hours or prices, dealing with couriers and customer service, declining sales calls, and screening your incoming calls.

Enforcement

We may warn, limit, suspend or close an account. Fraud, harassment and calls to emergency lines lead to immediate suspension. We may report unlawful use to the authorities.

If you received an unwanted call from a Behalf secretary, tell us through the app with the number and time.
