Who we are

These Terms are the rules (regulamin) for using Behalf. Write to us through the app with any question.

What the service does

Behalf gives you a Polish phone number and an AI secretary. It places calls from a brief you write, answers calls to your number, screens callers, takes messages and forwards calls you are expecting. You get a transcript and a summary of every call.

You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

The secretary can mishear or make mistakes. Check important results in the transcript. The service cannot be used for emergency calls (112, 997, 998, 999 or any rescue or crisis line).

The secretary is an AI

At the start of every call the secretary says it is an AI assistant calling or answering for you, and that the call is transcribed. This cannot be turned off. If asked, it always confirms it is an AI. It never claims to be a person.

Your calls and your number

The secretary acts on your instructions. Orders, bookings and commitments it makes within your brief are yours.

Your number is assigned to you while your plan is active. It is not your property and is released when the plan ends. Outbound calls always show your Behalf number.

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend an account that breaks it, immediately for fraud, harassment or calls to emergency lines.

Payment, cancellation and withdrawal

Plans, prices (in PLN, VAT included) and included minutes are shown on the pricing page and in the app before you pay. A plan renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; it ends at the end of the paid month. Payments are processed by Stripe, or by the app store if you subscribe in an app.

14-day right of withdrawal. As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, by telling us through the app. If you asked us to start the service during those 14 days, you pay only for what you used up to withdrawal. We refund the rest within 14 days, to the method you paid with.

We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change or a change to these Terms. You may cancel before it applies, at no cost.

Liability

We aim to keep the service running, but it depends on phone networks and AI providers and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not responsible for what other people say on a call or for decisions you take based on a transcript.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if the service does not conform to the contract, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Complaints and law

Send complaints to us through the app. We reply within 14 days. You may also use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution (polubowne.uokik.gov.pl) or a consumer ombudsman. Polish law applies, without removing protections you have under the law of your country of residence.
